I went out tonight with a friend... I should've known better than to go see a movie though. Psh.

WHO THE HELL QUOTES A MOVIE WHILE YOU ARE WATCHING IT?
Who does that? It was the Watchmen... not exactly what I was expecting... but it was hard to really get into the movie when my buddy is laughing at all the sex scenes...
In every movie we've seen, she makes us into the characters... does anyone remember the Gladiators trailers they'd show in the movies? She was Helga, and I was... well, I don't quite remember...
In the Watchmen she was Rorschach, and I was Dan Dreiberg... fitting I guess... seeing as how I envision her to constantly be wearing a mask that has become her identity... the things she does... the things she says... the way she acts is all apart of this huge fallacy. I don't believe the same actually applied to Rorschach, but that's what I've translated from the movie onto my friend.
Of course she saw in Rorschach the brute that people fear, he's clever and rough around the edges. Well Dan is a nerdy zen guy who is constantly in an inner battle of sorts... Nite Owl II... Even that fits me, seeing as how I no longer associate with day walkers any more.

A good thing came out of my movie going experience... I found out that they are once again playing Death Note in theaters... I've been given a second chance. It will not elude me again.
