The Hunt for a Good Horror Flick

I'm thinking about going to see Sinister, I'm hoping it is scary enough considering Lee and I haven't had a good horror movie for awhile.

I'm also picking up Paranormal Activity and seeing if we can have a horror night considering that would be great.

Sadly, it has been awhile since I seen a good horror movie, recently, I would like to see some good horror movies. Where did the classics go?

I always thought Gremlins 2 was a comedy/horror...for some reason I can't help but watching with a smile, and had some really good musical numbers

I haven't seen that one, though I think the directors from the movie did show up at StarFest's Horror Movie Festival

If you don't mind horror with elements of science fiction mixed in, there's a wonderful thought-provoking recent scary film called SPLICE out on home video.
