Chill Pill replied to Dario Western's discussion 'How many Australians are on this site?'I read this everytime I'm depressed. It works better than my antidepressants.

Like we see inn Norway, and under the cold war in 1945 to 1991. We from Norway have a suspicion that we have been brainwashed to think that Norway was a democratic state. And in history books and on internet, it stands so to! That we are brainwashed! But if you see, if you go thought what Norway really stands for, and what we got. The Norwegian board is not just a little bit communist in it. We stand for equal pay, we have high taxes, and the state is always trying to find new revenue sources. And for a company they pay, 11% of food in the tax and 25% in other goods! Is this sick or not! What about the marzipan free (as we say on Norwegian: "marsipanavgiften")? If you se! The state not tells us all! And when the truth cames in to the light, you see that they have censured this for us for a long time! If you take the communism, and what they stand for, you can see the simularities with Norway, For they stands for almost the same! The only different is that we have the freedom of speech.
Norway is one of the richest country in the world, cuss we have a bit of communism in our democracy. And not just a bit, but many professional peoples working with this, says its more communism in Norway that it is democracy. And without communism in Norway, and just democracy, Norway would fall, and still be the poor land from back in time.
USA:
USA has now democracy! And this is pure democracy! You can see it, because the country falls. Cuss a country built up on war, can’t just go and try to build the country on peace! Then the country will go fall and lose all. Look now! Obama is a good president, but he was placed in the wrong country. USA was built on war! And that’s why they got enough money to be the big country they are to day. Because USA gets a lot off money to go in to war! It’s just the true facts! I know its crazy and wrong, but, its true… Bush was not a good man, but the one thing he was doing right, was to continue building USA on war! And holding the country up on their feet’s!
Rome:
And if you look on the old Rome, they were built on war! And they were a rich land back in time! And when a new leader was placed in and he was standing for peace. The country was slowly destroyed and breaked down. They are now not that rich land like they was before. And the same is happening with USA to day.
Back to Norway:
But Norway is built on peace. And the land knows how to handle it. They have handled it for a long time. And it’s easier to build a country that’s built on peace, on war. And it’s what is happening now. Norwegians is sending to war to Afghanistan and now Libya etc, to help. And this is going to be a long war. And Norway is going to be built on war soon to. If this not stops!

Comment by Medicine Lady on April 16, 2013 at 4:30pm This was an English presentation that someone who went to my school was having. The whole English lesson was canceled after this presentation. Our English teacher almost slapped the student after a huge argument where the student claimed that our English teacher hates him/her, mostly because the teacher started to complain about the statements in this text. It was hilarious.
This student was also stupid enough to upload the presentation publicly on our school's website instead of his/her private folder. That's why I have it.
Comment by ░▓░ on April 16, 2013 at 12:29am Not sure if I understand the jist of what the author was writing since the English is so incoherent. The USA is certainly not "pure democracy" nor was it created upon war. The American identity is forged on ideology...unlike European identity which is usually experienced through history that is impersonal to the modern world. From my perception alone, I think that is also what makes the United States such a strong and unique country throughout the world; anyone can be American. And while the American experience is unique for each and every one of us, the path is still the same: following our pursuits with as much freedom as possible regardless of the risks and rewards associated with it.
