I have been told I am an incredible artist. Since I was seven, I have drew characters of my own. But now, my self esteem has dropped and I am starting to doubt that I have a gift and a chance of becoming a cartoonist. I have created my own world, a world where there's imagination. A world in my mind where I could get away from my angry parents and stressful days. So, I decided to bring these things out of my head and show them to the real world. I want you to tell me, from these pictures if I am a good artist. Most people like my work, but I have never been enthralled with it. Too lamentable to call it anime, I decided to label my work just typically, cartoon characters. I've heard from a few real anime/manga fans that what I draw is not even CLOSE to anime. But I will always call it cartoons. These are my recent drawings, and this is what I want to do for a living.

"The Psycho Clowns" These are the villians I have created through my imagination. They are disguised as clowns, but they are actually cannibals from a different planet, making local circuses, inviting children and locking them in there to die. The one on the left is named, "Grim" for right now. He's not really the talkative type. He is a zombie, have no purpose but to tag along with the other two. The one on the right is named, "Friday". He is a human being, with mental issues. I drew him a zipper because he is the talkative type, and sometimes he will not shut up for a second, and so someone zips his lips, doing everyone a favor. He is goofy and foolish, yet he can be scary at times. He enjoys killing people, scaring the shit out of them, and making them suffer. The one in the middle is named, "Circus" I have no idea why I named him Circus. I just thought it was a cool name to call a clown, and so his name is officially Circus. He is the leader. He is the master mind, and tells his companions Grim, and Friday what to do with their victims.

"Daeg and Sage" These two teens are hiding secrets from each other and that is; they are in love. They are too scared to tell how much they feel about each other. Sage, the dark haired boy, is more feminine then Daeg, the brown haired one. He often gives hints to Daeg that he likes him but he never gets it. Daeg is a stubborn and rough guy, and doesn't know how to express love. My purpose of drawing this couple, is to say that having feeling for another sex isn't really terrifying. I support gay pride, even though I am straight as a stick. I draw Daeg and Sage often and my artwork of them is often called, "yaoi"

"Skoully Boys" These are all my super hero rebellious characters. They were created from listening to alternative songs. One day, I sat bored at my desk, and listened to My Chemical Romance. I began to draw with the music, visualizing with the guitar riffs and sounds, creating a character from music. And that's how I created my first character, "Skully", the one center left. And so, I began to make a group of them, giving them different personalities. They are super heroes, but their powers are suppose to be used for evil. They are the only people born with these kind of powers. Their purpose is to save the world from the scary creatures that lurk in shadows. These five teens, Skully, Sage (center), Myth (Far left), Xylon (Far right), and Daeg (Far back), are all the characters I have been working on for the past few years.
