HOPE
‘LOOKING TO GOD’

1. Understanding what your HOPE is in

Acts 17:24-25 (NIV) [24] "The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands.

[25] And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else.

2. Understanding our HOPE is in Jesus

Acts 4:1-2 (NIV) [1] The priests and the captain of the temple guard and the Sadducees came up to Peter and John while they were speaking to the people.

[2] They were greatly disturbed because the apostles were teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead.

3. Understanding our HOPE when we are HOPELESS

Acts 12:1-5 (NIV) [1] It was about this time that King Herod arrested some who belonged to the church, intending to persecute them.

[2] He had James, the brother of John, put to death with the sword.

[3] When he saw that this pleased the Jews, he proceeded to seize Peter also. This happened during the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

[4] After arresting him, he put him in prison, handing him over to be guarded by four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring him out for public trial after the Passover.

[5] So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.

HOPE, Faith , Love, look to God in all, and it won’t be hopeless.
