Bolt Shut Down for Adult Content

Hi All,



So you may have noticed Bolt was shut down for nearly 16 hours today. This was a decision made by Ning as a direct result of adult content being posted to the site and a violation of their terms. I make a sweep a couple times a day to delete what I find but there are two problems with this: A. The network is growing pretty quickly so it is no longer sufficient for me to do this on my own... Bolt Development Group & Moderators

Just a quick update that today I added the Bolt Development Group for people who want to help develop, upgrade, improve, etc... Bolt.com. Please join and help steer this site.

New Forums

Great thanks to a number of Bolt folks who found that I could actually setup the forums section sort of like it used to be on Bolt. Specifically thanks to StormyNite who actually sent me a link to the instructions! So I figured out what to do and then went through the old Bolt docs and found one about the old forums and uploaded them to this site. Enjoy!

As many of you may know or suspected, the old Bolt.com infrastructure was just too clunky and expensive to operate without a serious overhaul. The cost of running the old system was many times the revenue the site generated. As a result, it was just a matter of time before the site had to die again.
