Samhain Blessings

Samhain marks the Day of the Dead and the coming of winter. It is Gaelic for “summer’s end.” Along with Imbolc, Beltane and Lughnasadh it makes up the four Gaelic seasonal festivals. It was observed in Ireland, Scotland and the Isle of Man. Kindred festivals were…

Ever been in a place you know is haunted

You know its something that is interesting, I have seen places that people have said are haunted and well...yes, I was spooked and it looked scary. It isn't something I can easily say is strange.

When I was little, I was always going to my grandmother in Oklahoma's house and well...it was usually not so bad with my grandfather around. Well...when I was around six or seven, hard to say, I would share a room with my sister and grandmother, I came out one night to the bathroom. I went…

Okay, I'm going to post a link to my Deviant Art, I reactivated it when the person who claimed I was a thief was finally banned and so forth. Anyway, if anyone wants to purchase some pieces, please do...it will help me get better and also support the fan artists.

Watching the stars

It was a nice night last night, I got to see some meteors and it was beautiful out there. Some people who are together and were watching it, not to mention all the stars are so bright, glad we went out the middle of nowhere.

This monster isn't an artist!

Damien Hirst is a horrible man, I hate him and I will never consider myself at his level, and nor will I ever condone what he practices. Considering I consider it sick and wrong.

I'm sorry, to be voicing it, but who in their right mind does what he does? I am all for science to better our species, but what he did was down right torture!

All I know is I will never go to his art shows!

I stand by the Wiccan saying of "Harm none," this guy is disrespectful of all things in…

Today...painting

Yeah, nothing new, considering I'm thinking I might need some more paints soon, but I have to wait until my next pay check. At least I came up with some great new pictures.

I'm not sure how this is going to go with some people in the next few weeks, but considering I am under a wire on commissions for a convention coming in March of 2013. Yeah, starting early considering Lee is a little pressed for printing and will get bogged down with other problems.

Lee does some of the…

Lana Del Rey's Ride Monologue

I was in the winter of my life - and the men I met along the road were my only summer. At night I fell sleep with visions of myself dancing and laughing and crying with them. Three years down the line of being on an endless world tour and my memories of them were the only things that sustained me, and my only real happy times. I was a singer, not a very popular one, I once has dreams of becoming a beautiful poet- but upon an unfortunate series of events saw those dreams dashed and divided…

The Hunt for a Good Horror Flick

I'm thinking about going to see Sinister, I'm hoping it is scary enough considering Lee and I haven't had a good horror movie for awhile.

I'm also picking up Paranormal Activity and seeing if we can have a horror night considering that would be great.

Sadly, it has been awhile since I seen a good horror movie, recently, I would like to see some good horror movies. Where did the classics go?

Jeff Buckley quote on religion

"I don't have any allegiance to an organized religion; I have an allegiance to the gifts that I find for myself in those religions... I'd rather be non-denominational, except for music.

I prefer to learn everything through music. If you want divinity, the music in every human being and their love for music is pretty much it.

It's the big indication of their spirituality and their ability to love and make love, or feel pain or joy, and really manifest it, really be real. But I don't…

God Knows !

Early Pictures of God - Part 1

“Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden." (Genesis 3:8)

Someone reading the Bible for the first time might notice some things about God that are easily overlooked by longtime readers. For instance, in the story of God's relationship with Adam and Eve, there is a note that God walked in the garden during the cool…

A letter and a goodbye

The heart squeezes and throat closes, leaving me speechless. The head hurts as all our history passes, like in a movie, I remember every moment. I wonder if all this is really worth it. I do not know if things are really changing or am I fooling myself, pretending that we still have a chance.

Time passes…

Ghost Hunting?

I am thinking about doing this around my area, but considering my history, I'm not going to do it really. I used to think about doing ghost hunting back when I was a kid, then again, I was thinking about going to the Brook Forest Inn, which is out in Evergreen Co.

Has anyone done something like a ghost hunting, not like what you see in TAPS and some of the other spooky things out there?

The Bible !

The Foolish Truth

"For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him' God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe it'" (l Corinthians 1:21)

Sometimes the truth about God isn't what philosophers might imagine. God become a man and die? Ridiculous!

There are many declarations of knowledge; few are trustworthy. In fact, different authorities are constantly proclaiming different "truths" based on…

The Father

Like Father, Like Son

We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true - even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life." (1John 5:20)

If God had not become a man, we would not know Him as well as we do. But because God came to earth as the God-man Jesus, we saw God functioning in daily human life. We saw Him interacting with humanity as if He was one of us.

The…

Do We Really Know Him

To Really Know Him is to Follow Him

"The man who says, 'I know him,' but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him." (I John 2:4)

Growing in the knowledge of God is growing in the knowledge of the Master of the universe and of our hearts. God is not an astronomical phenomenon to be observed through a telescope. He is not a

philosophical concept to be studied. God is King. To know Him is to

follow Him.

We simply can't follow God without…

Am I the only one?

Apparently, I must be the only American to not like American Football...considering I was bullied by those who played in high school and usually when I saw the sport on TV, I am wondering how many poor people got shoved into lockers by those people and treated like crap.

Sorry if I don't seem to want to support something I find sort of unintelligent or annoying. I am not atheletic, I prefer music and the arts...is that even wrong? Because I'm starting to feel like I shouldn't bother…
