FBI Suspects Peace Activists of Terrorism

More than a dozen activists will face a federal grand jury in Chicago, in an investigation related to terrorism. The FBI searched the activists' homes last week, confiscating computers, photographs and other materials that the search warrants suggest could be evidence of "material support" of terrorist organizations.

U.S. apologizes for Syphilis Experiments in Guatemala

Secretary of State Hilary Clinton apologized for a U.S. funded study that led to the deliberate infection of hundreds of Guatemalans with syphilis from 1946 to 1948. The study was done to test the effectiveness of penicillin.
