Music actually dates back to 1250 AD and comes from the Middle French musique, which in turn derives from the Latin, musica, which in turn came from the Greek Mousikos, which referred to any of the arts ruled by Zeuss nine daughters who were known as the Mousae, or more commonly, the Muses.Chord This is interesting Chord comes from Middle English cord, which is simply a shortened version of accord.
