We are a society that is hyped up on various "end of world" events like the apocalypse, Y2K, and others.
I think many people are starting to spend more time worrying about the end of the world - or what is going on the world, then about their own personal lives!
The best way to improve something is to start with yourself, and eventually others will follow your example.
But since the whole Maya thing started, it's really getting ridiculous to constantly hear about it.
I think the Spanish inquisition is to blame for the fact that we don't have enough information about the Maya's theories, but of course nobody will admit to this, because the church had a lot to do with it.
And honestly, even though 2012 looks like a good Hollywood movie, it is too far-fetched to REALLY predict what will happen.
When it comes out, I plan to see it for the entertainment, not for taking this movie seriously.
