Kohl works for me, liquis just sometimes but on brown not black and i never tried gel :(,but my fac is the sparkle powder from victoria secret which is getting very good on the lids and dont fall,althrought is a wee bit messy under the eyes after applied but i do my make up after i finish my eyes make-up
