The Joker

A group laying homage to one of the best villains in comic book history: THE JOKER.
Yes the Clown Prince of Crime himself. On here we'll..., we'll just talk about the Joker. HAHAHAHA!!!!

Best Joker adaptation

This is to show who is the best of the best, from the old 50's tv show to the cartoon to the latest film and even the video games, which joker was better? The reason why the comic book version is because, he is the best Joker, but what I'm looking for is the adaptation of the Joker, that means who had the most characteristics to the comic book Joker. Be sure to have a explanation on why you have picked your.. um... Joker. Now, let's get this party started!!!!

My pick is good o' Jack Nicholson. He had all things the comic book Joker had: the funny, the evil, and the dark, creepy side of the him. Plus, unlike the other Jokers, he couldn't stop smiling (picture below explains it all). Also he had funny kills, too bad this Joker died, but hey, he died with a smile.

Lastly, the video below, I think, shows the reason why he's the best of the best.

I have to agree. For all the same Reasons.

While I would have to agree with all the points above (I really like Jack's dark side) I do think that Heath Ledger did a great job at displaying his overly psychotic side, as well as his wit **Insert dropping Rachel Dawes out the window in response to "let her go" ** Another thing that I liked about Heath was the story about his scars... we never really know -why- The Joker is. Two Face, the Riddler, Cat Woman, Lockdown... they all have a backstory, a turning point. The Joker has so many past' simply because he's psychotic and he invents his past as he invents his present. "Do you know how I got these scars?" It's brilliant.

Now Jack... he has the comedic timing, he has the goofy aspects of the Joker.... not to mention the suit. And Nicholson had the truly dark side down... "Have you ever danced with the devil by the pale moon light"

But, if you want to go with voice acting... I think that The Joker from the WB's Batman cartoon is awesome... he just sounds like the ever present comic.

i am sorry but for the life of me i cannot pick Jack as the best Joker
One of the things that Heath's Joker brought back was his witts
How clever he was on orchestrating what happened in the Dark Knight.
personally im a fan of the old comic books and i didnt feel like Jack was as dark as you all claim to say.
For its time, yes i agree that he played a good role.
but thats the difference. Times change.
