The Oops Olympics

Is it just me or do these Winter Olympics seem to have a lot more mishaps than great moments?

Vancouver weather: yes Vancouver DOES get snow, but because of El Nino (sorry I don`t have the spanish N on my keyboard), it is the reason Vancouver is having so much mild weather lately, and it is something the weather network predicted, a few months before the games have started.

Native American protesters: If you were watching the torch relay in Vancouver, you would have noticed that the torch had to be re-routed because there were so many protesters blocking the streets.

RIP Nodar Kumaritashvili ...: by now I assume everyone has heard of the fallen luger. I think this could have easily been prevented.

Olympic torch leg not functioning during the opening ceremonies - wow...how could someone mis-calculate that?

Broken zamboni - while one of the zambonis was clearing ice for the men's speed skating competition, it broke down in the middle of the arena.

NBC - NBC video crews accidentally aired a clip of Shaun White and his coach talking on tv. It was accidental, because of the things they said should not be aired on TV. Wow...NBC...just wow...
The conversation went something like this:
Keene: What do you want to do?
White: I don't know, man. Ride down the middle?
(Chorus of noes.)
Keene: No, have some fun.
White: Drop a double mick?
Keene: Yeah, drop a double mick at the end. Do whatever you want and [expletive] send that thing. Make sure you stomp the [expletive] out of that thing.

So the big question is how many other things can go wrong?

I'm not interested in the least bit. One of my families from work is there right now though, so I'm sure I'll hear all about it next week.
