Would you give up everything you have for everything you've always wanted?

you can't take it with you when you die, no sense in holding onto anything while you're alive. People are too materialistic

But like my momma always told me
every thing that glitters and shines aint good for you so no i wouldnt give up everything i have for every thing i want
cuz what you want might fuck yo life up if you get it

Sometimes you want something but when you get it, it's not what you expected and you can be highly disappointed. Therefore, you could have thrown away something perfectly fine just out of curiosity and greed.
I think if I wasn't content with what I have currently then I would say without a doubt. But having often wished for something and then been disappointed I would say no!
& that completely makes no sense what so ever!
Ugh, I should go back to school.
