Why is toasted bread so delicious?
Have you ever noticed that toasted bread makes a sandwich/hamburger/everything else taste more delicious? Why is that? What's happening?
Also what do you like to put on your morning toast? butter? fried eggs? bananas? bacon? sausage? gravy?
ps, why isnt there a food subforum?

I believe it has something to do with the natural carbohydrates caramelizing on the surface when high heat is applied over a certain length of time.

I like toast but hate croutons! I put plastic cheeze wiz on my toast and I throw the crutons out the window of moving vehicals and try to hit people with them:) its fun!
