Abortion...

Would making Abortions illegal in the United States be "unconstitional"? If so, how? I know about Federalism and how the National Government can't pass laws regulating abortions in states, but how else would making abortions illegal violate the Constitution? Do you think they should be illegal?

We don't get to have a discussion about whether we're going to have abortions or not. There is no possible way to make that happen. The discussion we get to have is "are we going to have safe, clean, supervised abortions supplied by a qualified medical professional with comprehensive aftercare, or are we going to have dirty, dangerous, unsupervised and unsafe procedures". People ARE going to get abortions. People that want them tend to REALLY want them. Enough to do something stupid and dangerous.

Considering the awkward legal gymnastics used to put Roe v Wade in place, it wouldn't take much to overturn it...just as long as you had the right people with the right views.

I don't think access to legal abortion should be overturned, it has saved lives, but Roe v Wade should be revisited by the Supreme Court and placed upon a more stable base.
