Whoa.

I just want to state that I too would consider myself to have very anarchistic ideals. However, after much painful realization, I honestly think I could "fuck up the system" all the more just by simply being "apart of it". However, this does take a certain level of unwanted conformity on my part. It's really the results I think we all want on a common ground, yeah?

Well I'm going to have to agree with niner on some levels here. (Speaking for myself) Even having some of the anarchist ideals that I have, I'm also what I consider to be a rationalist. I think it would be irrational to think that people could commit horrible crimes and get away with them. Even with the Utopian society that I would love to see, there would still have to be order in some way, shape, or form. Where I don't entirely agree, is where "Big Brother's agenda" is solely for our betterment. How it might be true that we do reap many of the social benefits of their existence, I also conclude that they are doing it all solely for monetary gain in the long run. I also speculate that they make this money (not through actually being the govt) but through receiving "kick backs" from the lobbying major corporations. What that tells me, is that the true enemies, are the corporations. This can be supported through the idea that we fail to harness the Earth's natural power just for electricity due not being able to "to put a meter on it", discovered Nikolai Tesla. Just so happens that his biggest American financial backer in all of his experiments was none other than J.P. Morgan himself. Hence we still use primitive technology on the industrial and private level for monetary gain. I think the people running the govt are just like you and me (and it's hard to turn down 100 g's to sign your name on a bill). That's what's really going down. You really can't take the greed equation out of the monetary system, even with how deeply flawed I find it to be. For that to happen, we'd have to get rid of it.

Therefore I conclude that true anarchism would never work on a satisfactory level to the general populace. I think as "Anarchists" we all just want to see the betterment of man kind anyway. And freedom does play a huge role in that. But even I agree we should NOT rape and pillage each other. We're always going to have the bad seeds....
