Nyanko By the River (POPULAR)?

I was told by a friend that one of my pieces was becoming popular, and a few people were requesting some more like it. I'm not sure I recreate a new piece like that. The original was something of a black and white and Lee was not sure it would be good as a color.

Now, I'm pretty much on the fly trying to figure out why Nyanko become so popular, he is just a character that I quite enjoyed from an anime called Natsume's Book of Friends.

I'm thinking that i should do a winter one, though I'm trying to find away to do a piece with Natsume and Nyanko, but I'm still not very good at drawing people. These are just some ideas of what I'm doing and also considering I'm going to be asking the community I'm in to not commission me unless they actually just go to Deviant Art and request, considering it is a lot harder to do prints these days.
