"For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him' God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe it'" (l Corinthians 1:21)
Sometimes the truth about God isn't what philosophers might imagine. God become a man and die? Ridiculous!
There are many declarations of knowledge; few are trustworthy. In fact, different authorities are constantly proclaiming different "truths" based on conjecture, opinion, observation, or scientific study - not necessarily hard facts.
Knowledge of God, however, begins with a message that is completely trustworthy. Every word of the Bible is solid fact. While it seems foolish to some to just accept the Bible as truth, we must recognize we live in a world where little can be trusted. God's Word is a beautiful, dependable exception to that dilemma.
