To a lot of people;" Christianity doesn't make much sense. They wonder how Christians can base their faith on some special man who can supposedly take away sins. "How," they ask, "can a man take away sins?"
ln Jesus' day, people wondered the same thing. Jesus was from an unimpressive town called Nazareth. How could He be the Messiah? His origin just didn't seem supernatural enough. Jesus responded to such questions by saying He was sent by the Father.
His true place of origin was not from this world. Understanding where Jesus came from, that He is God the Son who became a man, makes all the difference. When people grasp the Trinity, including Jesus' origin from eternity with the Father, Christianity makes more sense.
