Fear of making mistakes

During my life I've always been very cautious, despite being the bumbling girl who drops the glass of ginger ale on the table. I thought 10 times before doing things and my parents always demanded too much of me for my age. In college was no different: "Yeah, you think well what course will make you not regret it later!" How so?! I'm only 18! Can I change course as many times as necessary until you find what you like. There is no way to be absolutely sure what you like to do without living with it.

It turns out that their fear was throwing money in the trash, and I can understand it. What I do not understand is someone who does not like the rest of my life just because money is invested in it. It is the happiness of the person at stake! I was always too afraid of making mistakes. To choose something and regret it later. At the time of deciding which undergraduate course I'd do was no different. I spent all day thinking about it, trying to decide, writing hoping to help, I visited the college and the courses ... told tell me a lot, but still not quite sure of the choice.

What changed my thinking, and I took that fear, was what my teacher - and the course coordinator Desk - spoke to the class:

"You are young! Do not let anyone take your dream. Let no one say you can not do something. Run after what you want without fear of error. Now is the time to try, and even to risk making mistakes. If you error now, no problem, you are young and it is for the youth it serves. Nothing can stop you. "

Of course it was not exactly those words, but the essence was the same. And I wanted to share it with you. Because she opened my eyes and she's right. Now is the time to make mistakes. If we do everything right now, continuing a steady job that does not make us happy or doing anything else for fear of making mistakes when we take risks? As we have already married, have a house, and children to care? Of course it is never too late to change, but I'd rather take my chances now than later.

And that's why I'm running behind everything I want. I'm loving college but do not know if I'll like the job market. Now I have stability in my job, but later I'll go out and make the required two stages of the curriculum. I want to strive, further to achieve my dream, to win. and you must do the same!
