News Media, TV or Radio Air Time?

I have a question to extend to all of you. Do any of my friends have any connections in the news media field? My publisher and I are looking to either get an interview on the air or in the paper. I've done the basic research and have approached some of the papers but have not received a response yet. Any help would be graciously accepted.
I'm looking for an interview within the local areas surrounding my hometown, Phoenix. And, for the first person who can help set me up with an interview within one of the areas surrounding my hometown, you'll receive a free autographed copy of my book. Some of the surrounding areas are Glendale, Scottsdale, Tempe, Paradise Valley, Surprise, Anthem, Avondale, Mesa, etc. YOU DON'T have to be local, but the interview needs to be local to my area.

    And I looked up the synopsis of your book Crystal Dragon and would like to say that it is not necessary to write a novel about vampires simply because that is the latest hype...vampire stories have existed for many years, but the latest addition with Twilight and True Blood probably has the author of Dracula turning in his grave...the writing these days is horrible. The vampires don't follow traditional vampire rules - since when do vampires sparkle?!. Write about something more relevant, not something everyone is hyped up about just to get some money. I think you do have some potential but you need a better topic.
