Five Years Old Again.

Brace yourself, this is kind of stupid. But I can't help it...

Today, I went to my brother Jerry's house, and next to it there is this huge tree with these weird looking fruits on it. Jerry called these fruits "grenades." When I asked why, he grabbed one of them and threw it on the ground, and it blew up. Inside of the fruit there were these little seeds with some kind of flap that was as thin as tissue paper. When you threw it in the air, the seed would spin around super fast and slowly glide down to the ground. The seed looked like some kind of butterfly or tiny bird. I was so fascinated by this, so Jerry and I got eight more of the Grenade Fruits and broke them open to get the seeds. It took a lot of effort to actually get the fruit, open them, and gather the seeds. But it was sooooo worth it! We each took two handfuls of the seeds and threw them in the air. All around me there were little "butterflies" and "birds" flying in the air. Those few seconds were worth all the work. We picked up the seeds and threw them in the air again, and again, and again.

I don't know why, but this made me feel as though I were five years old again. Playing with the simplest things but being completely content. It made me feel genuinely happy. And for a while, I completely forgot about the rest of the world. It was just me, my brother, and all the little butterfly seeds. It was like we'd made up our own game. But there were no complicated rules and there weren't any competitive players. It was just something simple and childish, and it was a refreshing feeling.

So yeah, there's your story for today. I'm in a really good mood now.

Tell me something that makes you happy?

I don't DISLIKE kids... I'm just awkward around them.

I'm not quite an adult though, I'm only thirteen. :p haha

I just don't get along very well with kids my age, or younger. :\

To Kayra, it's complicated. I never really had one of "those" childhoods. I've always been surrounded by people who were older, you know?

    Dazzling Daydream, Thank you!<33

Taylor, Thanks xD Me too. They pass by far too quickly. :p
