i started smokeing in high school..i thought it would make me look cool.lol. my friend would roll them at home and add the *HERB* which grew wild on their property..

we would sit across the street from school and smoke during breaks..smoke, get a buzz, then go back to class. how stupid, now that i look back on it..but i quit when i was pregnant with my first child. and didnt start untill after haveing my second child..husband was cheating on me so i left him...started smokeing again because it seemed to ease the pain and stress of not haveing the man i loved with all my heart..and trying to raise two babies on my own. i have quit several times since i started..usually due to stress..i know there is no excuse in the world good enough to use as a reason to smoke..i choose to smoke. i enjoy it alot. i hate how expensive they are..but its better than other habits that come to mind. i dont drink..and the only drugs i use are the ones prescribed by my doctor...and now i am going to smoke one now before i get in the shower..lol.

Why people smoke? Good question. Why do I smoke, even better question actually and I have no idea. I started smoking for two reasons. First, I just had a baby and I was experiencing some major stress. No a good reason and it might actually be more of an excuse. Second (and this one is just so dumb) I gained huge amounts of wait during my pregnancy and I just couldn't lose it. So I heard and beleived stories of people gaining weight when they quit smoking so I thought I would try the reverse affect and lose weight by starting. Pretty stupid huh? Now I like it and I don't want to quit. But as soon as I do I think I could. I lost the weight on my own btw :)

But one thing which i dont understand that Doctors much batter know that smoking is not good habbit then why they somke?
And why People smoke?

It depends what you mean by good. If you're going to have a "bad" habit I choose smoking over drinking (alot), drugs (alot), lying, stealing, doing that annoying clicking thing with you're jaw or cracking you're knuckles etc...
All habits are bad or they wouldn't be good :)
Off for a smoke now tee-hee.
