I don't really know much about him so I have no opinion.
I think if people beleive in the crap enough then they might or might not have something. personaly I think there faith is weak for needing to put it in some prune that gots not sexual drive anymore or cant. its not like they can not punish him for sexual immorl problems. I think the pope is an over rated want to be holy guy just becouse people say so. we all got that pontail. heck its the holy bolt thread now. omg its beter then the pope! lets have everyone worship it. its even got less sex drive then the old dood its beeter I tell you
Everyone is called to be holy. Im a catholic and im far from holy, im not pretentious or anything like that. u call my belief "crap"? he's like a shepherd to us, a leader. not someone to worship u, little prunehead!
Abel Christian, no offense but most of the time I find your posts commenting on a certain beliefs or practices without giving a valid and logical reasonings to support your claims. If you think their faith is weak, why is it so? Then, you say that the holiness of the Pope is over-rated because people say so. What do people say so to validate the over-rated holiness of the Pope? And the worse..OMG! your grammar, spelling and the rest are all messed! I have to read over and over again your post just to understand exactly what you meant. I have a hint that you're 10 or 12. Please don't get me wrong and don't take it personal for i don't mean it that way. Only that BE CLEAR with your post if you don't mind. But if you are care less about it, then be it. Just a suggestion.
I think that in every organised religion, there is a need for a Shepard, Pastor, Ancient, Elder, Guide, whatever you want to call it. There's nothing bad to it, unsless theses people don't replace God's place in their lives.

But this guy has a big burden to carry! If he does any mistake, it's the whole catholic church that suffers from it. That's what I don't like.
Yeah, he's more like a Shepherd to us than as an object of worship. What are sheep without a shepherd?
Hi there Audrey. One of the Catholic beliefs is that the Pope is the "replacement" of Christ here on earth. How do you comment on that?
"What are sheep without a shepherd?"

I've always had a problem with the reference of the followers of Christ being lambs...I often get the image of lambs being led to slaughter. Mostly because they don't think for themselves and often follow blindly because they have put their faith and trust in the hands of another.

God/Goddess/Divine only helps those who help themselves.
Sheep is known that it can instantly recognize the voice of a familiar trusted person. Likewise, it can remember person inflict abuse upon them. In other words, sheep has excellent memories for faces or remember their handler. It follows therefore the close relationship between shepherd and his flock. The sheep recognizes the voice of the shepherd, hence, follows the same. Other than obedience, another good qualities of sheep is being gentle, quiet and innocent.

Therefore, if ever the Bible compares the true followers of Christ with a sheep, it is the qualities and not the purpose of its creation like what you’ve mentioned “led to slaughter”.

Can you please elaborate further regarding your statement, “follow blindly because they have put their faith and trust in the hands of another”? Only if you don’t mind.

Like the god/goddess/divine you believe in, the Father only helps those who help themselves especially in living a holy life according to the teachings of God, of Christ and of the Apostles. Man in nature is weak. So no matter how hard he will strive for perfection, he will fail. Yet God seeks the heart, hence, sends a comforter or helper which the Bible calls the Holy Spirit. Christ said, “the spirit is willing yet the flesh is weak.” So it must be a partnership of two. Man must strive while the Holy Spirit helps him. And if man somehow falls into sin, the Bible says, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” (1 Timothy 2:5).
