Hi Everyone,

Just dropping in to say hello and Happy Thanksgiving.

I'm going to share a bit about me. I am married and my husband and I have a little boy. We also have an angel in heaven. We named our second baby Angel.

Sometimes I feel like I'm holding a lot up with broken arms. I'm not always sure if my depression/ anxiety is only situational or if it is also chemical.

My mom has been diagnosed with depression/ anxiety disorder. Hers is pretty extreme compared to me. I do get panick attacks and am sad more than I'd want to be. I was diagnosed with dysthemia and an episode of major depression about 5 years ago. Therapy and medication and finally talking helped. I'm no longer on meds and for awhile I was doing ok. Last summer I started to feel very down again and then after the loss of our baby I've been having a harder time dealing with my feelings.

I saw this quote. "When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us." Helen Keller

Right now it's hard for me to look at the open door because I'm missing what is behind one that has closed. I'm working on that and of not being afraid or unwilling to look to the open door. I'm not feeling ready now.

Well that's a bit about me and where I'm at today. Again, welcome and thanks for being here to share.
