Chess Jokes
Two friends were discussing whether or not to play in an upcoming chess tournament. The first guy said "I would really like to play, but man, my wife told me that if I spend one more weekend playing chess and away from her, she's gonna take the kids and leave me!"
Second guy asks, "So what are you gonna do?"
First guy: "Pawn to e4, as always!"

A chess player dies and his close friend, also a chess player, mourns. The latter is asleep in bed when he is visited by his deceased pal in the form of a ghost. A little alarmed, he asks "what are you doing here??"
His friend says "I had to tell you! Heaven is great! You'd love it up here. All the chess greats and grandmasters are up here who have passed on, including Tal, Botvinnik, Capablanca, Alekhine, Bobby Fischer, and more! But I have some bad news to tell you..."
"It would be great to meet all of the greats! But what's the bad news??"
"...You're scheduled to have the black pieces against Capablanca on Saturday."
