Fave genre of metal?
Personally I've always been a melodic death metal and industrial metal fan. Though I do have my pick of the random black/power/prog/folk/brutal death metal/goregrind bands every now and then.

Overall I'd have to go with progressive death metal, followed by avant-garde.
