Chemclaves, autoclaves, distillers, all that crap should not be in the main shop area, only thing I've got in there is my chair (old dentist's chair payed 50$ for it, such a steal) and guns and ink (under lock and key of course) caught someone last week trying to get at my gun closet, easiest 60 bucks I made, it was his deposit, but I'm sure he knew he wasn't getting it back... Anyways, about tattoos, whats every-bodies preferred style? I tattoo, in bio-mech, heida, traditional tribal, and I do some tadu. again, sharks-teeth are not found in the prairies on accident, so you best have the dollars.

lol, you think 16 year olds will read a pamphlet?
At least verbally explaining to them about piercing aftercare will get them somewhere.
And at least they took the info in before you pierced them.
If they don't want to do it after, then that's their fault if it ends up infected. lol

I'm just glad I don't give a damn about piercing.... Hell half of what I know about tattoo is cleanliness, without cleanliness you have nothing.

It must depend on the area you are residing in.

I'm in Vancouver, and there is at least 2 piercers and 2 tattoo artist working at a time in most of the shops you go to here. It's always really busy. Usually a 14 hour operation. Maybe longer some days.

Plus for the first timers, I'd like to be professional, and educate them on how we run our place, the sanitation we do [aka autoclaving] and how to take care of the piercing and answering all their questions they have instead of just taking their money and piercing them and sending them on their way.
So many shops don't give a shit about their clients. I want people to come back and have a good reputation.

I've been wanting to have my own piercing/tattoo studio by the time I'm 25. But it probably won't happen anytime soon, lol.
I would hire tattoo artists to work for me though because I can't draw for shit and I'd pierce, and have a few other piercer's on board with me.

I'm a tattooist who just opened up shop. No piercing yet, but I'm thinking about knuckle studs.
