the tremec is an austrailan designed replacement for the top loader gearbox that can handle decent power upgrades. and has internal shift linkages compared to the old top loader. have a chat to some aussie websites and see if they can recomend somthing as a replacement www.malwood.com.au

looking for a 4 speed for a ford galaxie? i think they are toploader gearboxes, the better ones to use are the tremec gear boxes as they will give you a 5 speed toploader instead of 4 speed
