Would you date someone of a different religion?

No, not anymore. It goes nowhere, I know.

Religion isn't important to me. As long as they aren't some die hard religious fanatic we could probably work it out.
yeah I don't practice any religion, so as long as they are not shoving it down my throat it's fine.
lol, oh id be shoving it down your throat alright! ;)

sorry i had to...
i'm not a very religious person so as long as they're not jumping down my throat about whatever they practice, there's no problem.
all religion is good date any one u fall in love with
No. I don't have anything against other religions. Most of my friends are a different religion. I just don't see myself in a relationship with someone who has conflicting views. My belief in God is very strong and I would want my children to grow up with the same beliefs. I think it would be very confusing for kids to be taught two different ways. Also, as far as myself, I would want a man that would serve God with me and who I didn't have to sit and debate "wrong/right" over. It's just so much easier to have a husband who believes the way I do and we can support each other in our worship of God.

Of course I would. Let us see what would happen next!
But if you date someone of a different religion, knowing that you're not going to marry them, and you guys end up falling in love, wouldn't that just be totally painful for both of you? I was with two guys before who didn't share my faith and it totally sucked when it didn't work out because of that.

I would like to say I totally agree with the comments of DiamondRose1976.
that would depend on how serious they are about their religion. kinda like how people claim christianity but rarely step foot into a church, read the bible or pray. personally i'm agnostic so as long as they can respect that and be comfortable with it i wouldnt see it as a problem. but im well aware that dating someone with strong christian beliefs wont work i still butt heads with my dad over my religious beliefs(he's a southern baptist preacher.)
I feel your pain. My parents are devout Christians. When I informed them of my religious views they started to treat me as if I told them I were gay. Not that I have a problem with gay people, but from what I understand, Christians have a big problem with that lifestyle choice. I all of the sudden became the "black sheep". Keep using your head man. I know it's tough.
God still loves the gay people, just not the lifestyle. Christians who ostracize the gays really bug the heck out of me. I have a gay friend and I get along with him just fine, although he acts a bit like a drama queen sometimes.

And God loves the atheists too. ;-)
