there are a few people I know only online that I wouldnt mind meeting, one that I'm definitely planning on meeting one day...the ones I want to meet I've been talking to for a while...and I trust...
but I have bever met any yet...

I've only met one person I've known online. We met in a public place and saw a movie. The friendship didn't last because, well, his intentions became clear and I didn't want any part of it.

I say, as long as you're not alone with the person the first time you meet, go for it.

I've met a handful of people (went as far as Oregon to meet one person) and some meetings have proven unsuccessful/disappointing. I've kept really close with at least 2 internet friends since meeting them IRL

I have never metsomeone from internet. My frend does it a lot. But most of the time she meets men on dates, have sex with them and then they say the do'nt whant a rearl relationship and she ends up never seing them agen. So she just feel used. She really whants a real boy frend and maby kids before it's to late. She is 31. I have pc frends, and real frends. Pc friends is like having pen friends. I't give you difrendt things in you life.

it all depends upon who u meet. i'm a very good judge of ppl and how they really r. i never meet until i feel comfortable. if it weren't for the net i wouldn't even be married right now. i met my best friend on here about 5 years ago. she introduced me to a friend of her's and now i'm married and have kids. so it's all on how u make it.

i have only met 3 people from the internet, there is one i would truly like to meet, but the three i have were close to me geographically, the one i want to badly is not, there are others i would like to meet, and maybe i will, but convenience is an issue frequently, never had any bad starts with anyone i have met in person...lol, ant say if they thought the same though!!
