will u meet a person u only meet on internet no clear clues if what he or she says is true about himself/herself....or what his/her real intentions? most people on the net babble things about themselves and often those things  weren't true at all....

One of my many long time internet pals and I finally met last year at the Calgary International Airport as he was on his way back to England from a United States visit with his family. So, yes, I would meet someone I have known solely online and have done so on many occassions. Majority of the people I have spoken with and kept speaking with online have all been very honest people. I trust them, and they always turn out to be exactly who they portrayed themselves to be in real life. I don't get close to anyone online who gives me a weird vibe.

This doesn't mean that everyone is honest. There's a lot of people who aren't. It's ridiculous, but that's one of the dangers of meeting people you've found online. Some people can't bare to be themselves.

I did meet someone I have met on the internet, but only after I talked to him for a while over the phone. Then when we did meet it was in a public place with one of my guy friends in the background so nothing would happen to me. It ended up the guy was a loser so I probably would not do it again. So many people lie about who they are because you can say anything about yourself when you are on the computer.

I have met a lots people IRL the I met online.  There are websites dedicated to it (haha)

 

Some of them I was meeting to join a club or do some activity together.  Others I corresponded with for years.

I have met quite a few people that i originally met online. Some just good friends, a few ex's and even my current I met online 6 months ago met him one week after we first spoke online and he's exactly what he portrayed himself to be, they all pretty much were, cept one dude but we won't go there lol.
