Of course with any religion, it's all about faith because religion doesn't come with proven facts...what religion are you, if any, and why do you believe in it? If you don't believe in anything, why?

Dimitri- how can you not know the history of a religion but still believe? How can you believe in something you know nothing about?
Agree.
I believe what I believe because I can prove it's true. There is historical, scientific and biological proof. I don't believe anything just because I'm told to. I have to prove it is what it is first.
Diamondrose- What do you belive in?
Wow, that's an indepth question. I believe that God is Father, Jesus is his Son and that they are NOT the same person. I believe that there is not such place as hell as people believe it to be, torment, but that it's nothing more than the common grave and when we die we cease to exist. I believe that there is no such thing as "always saved" but our salvation depends upon our working for it. Hmm ... There's a lot I believe but those are basics.
I agree with you DiamondRose. The Father is the Father and not the Son. For us, we believe that the Father is the only true God, no other else and none like Him. While Christ is his only begotten Son yet not God or another God but man (in nature). For me (if you don't mind just a matter of comparing notes), I believe in hell or the lake of fire. Therefore, my belief is the opposite of yours. The common grave is nothing compared to the upcoming "torment" for those who oppose God. The Bible clearly states that it will be forever and ever, day and night. It's all ok if one person dies, it's already the end of everything, yet it's not. That is why Christ described mortality as just "sleeping". It is the judgement day that a Christian should be prepared of not his physical death.
Good points BeachChika. You serve God and men, hence, you should not be disturbed if you see some holiness yet you don't see the power of religion in it. Am sure you also believe that on judgement day, everyone shall face his own Creator and the Bible clearly states that his actions shall follow him and not his faith alone. You as his sister in Christ, the only responsibility you have is to remind him of his wrongdoings but not to judge him nor base the actions of your faith on his examples. Do what you think is right and on judgement day, everyone shall be awarded accordingly.
I believe in one God only, the Father alone and to His Son Lord Jesus Christ. I believe that Christ is man (in nature ) and not God or another God. I believe that Christ is the head of the Church and the Savior of it, his body. I believe that there is a messenger in these last days. I believe in heaven and hell. Heaven already exists or the so-called Holy City that will only be revealed to those who were called in his flock and the lake of fire for those who have opposed to Him. Inspite of this, personally, I've never been judgmental to anybody based on my beliefs. These are what I believe in, I say it I share it. It's up to you if you accept it or not. I've done my part as a Christian but I make it sure that it will not affect my personal relationship with that person. That's what I call - respect! Kudos to you. :)
I've just realised something conclusive that proves that God doesn't exist (as if evolution, science and simple human logic wasn't enough). I've stopped concentrating on the big stuff like earthquakes, famines and the tsunami. I'm thinking small. I have a sore throat. As far as I'm concerned, this is evidence enough.

I'm constantly aware of this sore throat, which is the worst part. Before I never even thought about my throat. I just wandered around, blissfully ignorant of my throat. I never thought "Oh aren't I lucky to have a throat?" or anything. But at the moment I'm basically obsessed with it. It's sort of like the early stages in a relationship. Except here the 'other person' is played by my throat. And there's no sex involved because that would be impossible and probably just make my throat more painful.

In summary: A pain in the throat is proof enough that there is no God - or that if there is, he doesn't give a shit about human suffering. In which case, why worship him? That's like fellating someone who persistantly stubs cigarettes out on your head for no reason. And we all know how horrible that can be.

Perhaps God could create a highly-infectious disease that was lovely and fun. It has symptoms that make you feel nice and not nasty. It would be great. We'd all jump for joy at the first symptom. If a doctor told you that you were infected, you'd kiss him. If the virus was transmitted via saliva, he'd kiss you back. And if it was sexually transmitted, he'd lock the door, take the phone of the hook and bang you around the room like a dirty little doctor-lovin' bitch. "Ain't that right? Say it ho!
Say that you love doctors! Yeah, this be some primal medicine lovin'."

Yeah, anyway, so that's how the disease world could be. But it isn't, because God's an arsehole about it. If you're the sort of person that prays every night, ask him to stop dicking around, yeah?

I'd do it myself but my throats too sore.
I'm in the church of 'I like steak' because it tastes damn good, especially with the holy trinity of baked potato and au jous sauce.

Speaking of, I havent been to church in a while, I might have some tonight..
Heathen!

Potatoes are to be mashed, never baked!
How about fried?
Well, that depends on how you interpret my cook book.
