Why blame yourself for ur cheating partner

When ur partner cheats on u why do u blame yourself for their mistakes and suffer? What will b the perfect punishment for them? Should we punish that person too who he/she slept with and why?

I guess my outlook is, once a cheater, always a cheater. I think it's the unforgivable sin because betrayal is the ultimate stab in the back.....

you can't blame yourself because it shows you were probably used for a reason but nothing good enough for them to not cheat. Just never speak or look in their direction ever again would be the best punishment. The person they selpt with...make them be known the they sleep with other peoples boy/girl friends!

A) It might actually BE your fault. I know it's not PC to take accountability for anything anymore in this wasteland of a country, but sometimes partners cheat because the cheet-ee isn't fulfilling their needs or a lot of times, isn't trying anymore. Most people, girls and guys, cheat not for sex, but to fulfill deeper emotional needs that aren't being met.

B) Why punish the person they slept with? Don't hate the player, hate the game.
