Why are you still Here?

Considering the multiple reincarnations this site has had (i.e. Bolt, Bolt2, Boltagain) and losing most of it's user base and features, why do any of you continue to go to this site? Expecting things to improve? Currently enjoying the low key atmosphere? What brings you back here?

i must say its mostly nostalgia, it definitely has changed much since when i first joined if anyone ever told me id be back to being a boltie id die, but i rather be here than any other social network thats for sure i use to like making the bots not speaking to one like on facebook.

Because everybody is such an attention whore on Facebook! At least there's a sense of reality in Bolt. People are angry, their lives are shit and Bolt represents that far better than some of the mainstream Social Networking sites on Earth.

99% of all social networks are boring as hell. 30,000 people and nobody is ever around. Thanks to the automatic sign up features by Fuzzbook, Tweeter, Google, Yahooters! Linkedtin, Winders Live, etc. All that seems so pointless. Signup and run. People rarely come by "site merit". J/S

The "staff" need to put time in here too, creating, promoting, make chit happen.

I only have a part time job right now and I have way to much free time on my hands... it's not like I post to every topic on bolt. I don't expect things to improve, i mean bolt might never have tons of members but, hey it's a place to hang out at!

Whoa, easy guys, I understand it sucks that construction on the site has been slow but if it wasn't for Jer, I believe we'd still be looking at tubgirl or some other image which belongs on rotten.com.

You don't have to be a mod to get the ball rolling with this site. What this site needs is content to make this website more socially participating for members. We all know that the Bolt of 1999 or even 2009 will never come back but that doesn't necessarily mean we can't have fun with this.
