What if Neanderthals were cloned and had to live in our world?

Some scientists are considering cloning Neanderthals to see what they were like.

What are your thoughts on this?

Definition from Wikipedia:

Neandertal is an extinct member of the Homo genus that is known from Pleistocene specimens found in Europe and parts of western and central Asia. Neanderthals are either classified as a subspecies (or race) of humans (Homo sapiens neanderthalensis) or as a separate species (Homo neanderthalensis).[1]

The first proto-Neanderthal traits appeared in Europe as early as 600,000–350,000 years ago.

Personally, I think it would be pretty cool to see what Neanderthals were like back then, but humans have evolved so much, that it would [probably] be extremely difficult for a neanderthal to adapt to our changing climate, technology and language.
And also the neanderthal wouldn't be in it's home environment which probably consisted of grassy fields and plenty of trees for food - he/she would be surrounded and perhaps overwhelmed by our sky scrapers and may not live very long due to that fact.
This would also mean their behaviour would be slightly different from that of neanderthals back in the day.
Weren't they better equipped for a cold environment? This geologic era does not have many cold, natural environments left that are inhabitable.
yes, they wouldnt have any more trouble adapting to our world than we do, because they wouldnt be cloned as full grown adults, but would start as an embryo and so on to form into a fully funcitoning adult the same as we do, so language and our habits would be nothing for them to use

the only difference is iq levels, and who knows maybe they have a higher iq than we naturaly, i mean they did have to think jsut to survive, where as we dont really

and the brain size difference thing isnt an argument for lower intelligence seeing as how we use less than 20 percent of the nueral receptors in ours, what id thier brain is 1/2 the size of ours, but the use 80 percent of their receptors, then they would still outclass us...the only way to find out is, to do it and find out, which is an ethical and moral question more than anything else, personally i find nothing wrong with cloning, and not one argument i have heard to the contrary has given me the inkling of and idea that there may be something wrong with it
I think they'd fit in quite well...
we're already here :)
For the record, a neanderthal brain is probably as big as, if not bigger than a modern human brain.

Also, there is a very good reason we don't use all of our brains at once. You don't need, say, all your memories relating to ham loaded up into working memory at all time. A person that is using 100% of their brain is having a severe seizure.
not arguing what this part or that part does, all i'm sating is it's jsut as likely that neanderhals were more intelligent than we...
Agreed.
i guess all women would have to wear helmets.
