What countries have you been to? Which country would you travel to?

I have been to Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Russia, Germany, Czech Republic, Belgium, France, England, Spain, Portugal. (And obviously Norway since I'm Norwegian)

I would like to visit Italy and Iceland. I would love to visit a country ouside of Europe too.

And Nosferaazar: I've done all of this with next to nothing in terms of money. ;-) No need for a lottery win.

Just walk, hitch-hike, volunteer, couchsurf, and or apply for jobs where you would like to travel. Most importantly, decide you are going to go come hell or high water and you will. =)

Ah, so be determined - much thanks =D

If it isn't feasible to take the trip across the Atlantic or Pacific to another continent, you can always go on a cruise within the Caribbean to various islands and Latin American countries for a meager fee. Most of the places you visit are safe, will eagerly take American money (You won't suffer from losing more of your money to exchange rates), and nor will you get stuck in a country you dislike for too long.

Overall, a cruise liner beats any airplane ride. It is far more comfortable, relaxing scenery, plenty of activities, better food and you won't get molested by TSA agents. Plus you are more likely to survive if your boat goes down.

Costa Rica
Italy
The Netherlands
Mexico
Nicaragua
And of course
USA (26 states)

Next up but certainly not the last Portugal, Dominican Republic, and Ireland.

We're a culturally rich nation without the problems of European-style multicultralism and yet every culture considers itself American first...kind of.

That is one of the reasons I like to travel outside of the US. Because of the Multiculturalism. Seeing people from different cultures and the way they live and thrive is interesting to me. Yes I could go to the Florida Keys and it would be similar (Not the same) as going to Mexico, but in Mexico I get to interact with the locals, I get to bargain with a shop employee and experience a collectivo. Also, Mexico is much cheaper then the Florida Keys. Just something to think about.

I have been to three countries. Mexico, England/UK and France.
