on school in general? Did you or did you not like going to high school or college everyday? As for me, I hated going to high school but I love going to college now after 23 years of being out of high school. What is so crazy about this? It is my age to say the least. If I was younger, I would have hated going to college when I had gotten out of high school. To me, this is so f***ed up to the point that I would have loved to pull out all of my hair on top of my head.

Giving up was something that I had always thought about doing. It had to take the death of one of my parents almost four years ago to make me realize that there was more to life that just trying to help a parent out by doing errands for the parent while the parent was at work. It is just nice for me to at least get something done with a college education now because some of the jobs out there that I want to have require that I get a bachelor's degree. I figure that this is what I am wanting to do. I wish that I honestly had this goal in mind when I had gotten out of high school but back when I was attending elementary, middle, and high school, that I had no purpose in life.
What are you going to school for?
I hated high school coz it was boring too, and I missed a lot for being sick. They kept saying I couldn't keep passing while missing 3/4 of the school year, but I still had straight As so it took forever for them to kick me out. But then they did and I went to an alternative school and it was seriously like going to daycare. So now I try to get into college and start saving up to pay off the enormous amount of student loans I'm probably going to have to pay off. :) lifelifelife.
Oh, and other people will be picked over me because they're parents will pay for them, but then they'll get kicked out halfway through coz their BAC on a Monday morning is higher than their GPA. >:/

i wasn't a huge fan of high school, but mostly because i had to take classes i didn't have any interest in and then didn't get to take ones that i wanted to take.  but i had myself on an all honors/college level track, so that was part of why it was so intense.

i went to a private christian college straight out of high school and i absolutely loved it.  i got to pick my classes, my profs were amazing, and i wasn't surrounded by parties.  i immediately started taking classes toward my major and loved learning.  had i gone to a public school, i probably wouldn't have done as well.  academics were pushed at my college, but they took the time to work with individuals.  all my profs knew me by name, had students over for dinner all the time, and encouraged us to grow as people, not just as students.

high school - wasn't the greatest when your friends that you make keep moving away that sucks!!... :{

college - It was cool but it could haven been better!!!

I know that I have had friends that have moved into the school district where I lived at. There were also classmates of mine that had moved away and that really sucked. College is a lot different because of the fact that I have met so many people today. Some of them have already graduated and some are moving away. But I do have friends that are still there for me no matter what.
