The Bolt 30 Days of Good Deeds Challenge!

Alright my fellow Bolters let's do something worthwhile with our time and the site.  I'm not saying I don't enjoy the interesting discussions, debates and debauchery that we get up to here but hey let's do something with the site that has real meaning and implications for the world we all live in.

So with that being said I challenge us all to spend the month of September doing a different good deed for each day of the month and posting in this thread what the deed was.  It can be something as simple as watching a friends pet for them or something bigger like volunteering time at your local shelter but hey let's do something.  Let's be more than just another online social network.

The last homeless guy I was kind to followed me home late at night. Then he camped himself outside my apartment smashing beer bottles against my building, shouting at himself until he passed out at dawn. He proceeded to do this night after night until I finally called the cops. They made him leave, thank god.

Now he shouts at himself behind an entirely different apartment across the street.

i also negated a traffic accident by not crossing the street when cars were driving through the green light.....i think that counts
