Should a Teenage girl have the privacy of having an abortion without the consult of her parents?

Anyways, these teens were dumb enough to get themselves into the situation, so I feel that they should reap the rewards and consequences of their decision. If they were smart though, they'd bring the parents in.

Keeping in mind that abortion is just one piece of an overall technology of reproductive control, including broad, honest sexual education and a wide variety of easily available contraception. Each of these things fails on its own.

It's not like an abortion could be done with no apparent consequence at all. I know most parents would be terribly disappointed, but I think it's best to inform them of what's going on, what if something went wrong??
