So my questions is actually for single parents. I am a single mother to a 2 year old. At times I find it hard to be myself, and do things id like to do. I dont really date, and hardly go out with friends, because in my opinion im suppose to be at home taking care of my child. However, I no longer have any kinda life. So how do you single parents handle being a parent, and still being yourself?

I felt the need to reply to this. Breaking up is actually the very short term to it. When someone thinks of a 22 year old single parent. They assume that i made the choice to get pregnant before getting married. HOWEVER, in this case it is untrue. I was married when I got pregnant. My childs father waited until then to split. So when I got pregnant, I thought I was going to have a family. With both mother and father and baby.

well im a single parent i try to atleast go out 2x a month to be with my friend or boyfriend or just do the things i love even if its just for an hour the time alone helps alot!
