Bolt3.com is CLOSING DOWN. Please read urgent notice

This site brings back the memories from the early days of the internet. It's crazy to think how long ago that seemed.. Time to bring on the nostalgia!

Remember getting these things from AOL EVERY DAY?

Or before Google existed and Yahoo looked like this?

Did you used to play Neopets?

Or Ragnorak?

Or (my personal favorite) Gunbound?

What do you guys miss from back in the day?

I remember the AOL disks once a week, but not the other stuff. I had AOL dial-up for a couple years, it was awful.

What about Oregon Trail? You must remember Oregon Trail.

Nope. I didn't do much online game stuff, in fact I didn't get into many games at all until the FPS stuff started coming out. Now I have a gaming computer I built myself, 3rd one in about 6 years.

Seeing the pac-man pictures takes me back to when Atari reigned supreme, and when the original Nintendo came out and thinking how awesome the graphics were compared to the Atari.I had like 60+ of the NES games.

Righto. I never owned any of those, but I had hands on with friends.

I think there was a time we could post music on Bolt the original. That was one of the first features to be removed, probably for good copyright reasons.

Yes...Since this is a Ning Pro site, its available, but the current admin doesn't know much about how to configure the control panel/dash board. I've been on Ning sites for over 5 years and I know tons about them. Doubt they will enlist me here tho.

The work around is join another Ning site that has a player, then embed it here.
