I do not like the greed with which the previous article was written. You work, and you see the government giving money to those who do not deserve it other than through descent. What about the bigger issues? Traditions lost because of the genocide still being implemented by the Western Civilization. I'm 11/32 not human according to the American Government! They are trying to breed the Lakota out of me! YOU ARE FRUSTRATED OVER MONEY! MONEY! That is all anyone cares about on the Reservations today. Does anyone even realize that the reservations are nothing more than Concentration Camps! All I heard was BLA BLA BLA MONEY BLA BLA in that last rant. It was a pathetic attempt of an apple to gain sympathy!

yeah money issues that can be use toward something we need to build, remodel or install. Not sympathy but frustration.

Money is not what natives need, what we need is someone who cares enough to risk their own life for the greater good of society, the way all great leaders do. I could leave a list a mile long of great people but, all it would be is a futile effort to gain more sympathy. Apparently the education you had received was worthless because you do not see that as your first step in making society better. Throwing money around is nothing more decadence. I would rather we go kill the monster, but everyone else is too busy applying band-aids to axe wounds! You speak of social reform, yet you want money from the government to implement it, which is the exact opposite of what the government will do. 200 years of tyranny and I have to put up with these so called educated natives.

As a native american I have been to work in fields that I never fully understood such as FEMA thats Federal Emergency Managment Agency in the after math of hurricane Katrina you wouldn't belieave the number natives that partied and trashed hotel rooms all on government dime I seen what greed does to natives and more and more will spell the end of traditions.

the thing is alot of natives take advantage of the food stamps and money assitance from the government through their life time. Native's think they are so special that we can get away with everything and anything which is true but I can't wait till tribal law turns into federal law.

This subject doesn't point at me but the majority of the others who are useless. It's just embarressing that all of them jsut don't get it...

i know, i was just venting a bit of frustration. a lot of this same issues are brought up in my family because i am of lakota blood. i guess since so many people think things just are the way they are and they'll never change, it grows more frustration.

if anything i said makes sense, i honestly have no clue right now.
