Man, it has been a long time since I was on this site. I was a member of the original Bolt.com about when it started. Joined in 1997 and was on the site until they shut it down with little to no warning in 2007 I think.

Anyway, I doubt anyone here remembers those days! Just for kicks though, I know it's a shot in the dark, but if anyone else remembers those times and hung out on the Gossip Board, I was SatanClaws. Me and a guy named Virus2 started the squirrel army which was a bunch of people who opened new accounts with the name squirrel (I was SatanSquirrel) and together we'd flood the boards with posts just for kicks.

Sucks how it just shut down the way it did. I had lots of good friends I interacted with on here and then just poof! They were gone! I still wonder about a lot of them, never had a chance to share email addresses or anything so when they were gone they were gone.

That sounds a bit like a downer of a post, doesn't it? Well, is anyone else from the old school bolt? Before they made it into Bolt2, and then just dumping the site all together? I see that although they have the classic boards look..... kinda...... that some notable boards are missing. No Gossip board for one! And I didn't see a vampire or goth board either.

Anyway, I'm gonna have to check this out a little more when I have the time.

Welcome back! I was part of the original Bolt and remember having some cool thought-provoking tag questions and even wrote in my bolt journal about my days working as a henna tattoo artist. My username hasn't changed but I don't remember interacting with any of the usernames you mentioned. Now that you're back, it's a great opportunity to create new friendships and this time around get contact info just in case.

Oh my, in response to this last reply, yes, I did appear on the Activism section of old bolt more than a few times. I was a troll back then. When I wasn't enjoying the company of my friends on Goss I was out trying to get a rise of people.... very effectively. I used to go to the pro-life board and make a lot of pro-choice remarks, and then I'd go straight to the pro-choice board and get all pro-life on 'em. I also used to torture the vampires, and then there was the squirrel army..... I was kind of an ass. I'm sorry, I've grown out of that phase now, and anything I may have said or done to rattle you I apologize for.

I had a second login as well, Masterbaiter69. I'd pretty much did the same thing, trolling the boards. When people would get on me about my name I'd tell them I was a 69-year-old fisherman, the master baiter on his boat. But yeah, I caused trouble under that name too.

JohanTheMighty was another one... I used that one for things like posting poetry and not being an ass. I didn't want people to know that I had that side of me.

And then there was KrayolaBlue... a female character. I never really took that character to the boards. I would just bolt-note members the following message "Bitch!", just to get a response and start some trouble with them. Or I'd message males and lead them on, always telling them I lived in their area and how hot I was.

And then there was Nichole Powers. I'd go around the site, talking smack about people in general. Calling them things like "twerps". I remember I posted a picture I told everyone that had been sent to me, I called the girl "Mostly Gums" because she big gums anchoring in her teeth. Ha ha ha... I'm kidding right now, I wasn't Nichole Powers. She was a legend though.

9, I honestly never came across RubberToe or Contest Winner, so I couldn't say. Nichole, she was so at what she did that if you go to google and type in the following exactly as is, with quotes and all: "Nichole Powers" "bolt.com" you can find discussions about her on other websites. That girl made a helluva impact.

Fairly sure Contest Winner was proto-Nichole Powers...might have been the same user too considering they had similar styles.

There was RubberToe, TimmyandTabiatha, TheBeyonder and a ton of other trolls on the old Bolt. Those had a bigger impression upon me because by the the time I understood what trolling was, I could appreciate the humor in it.

I was a member of the original as well.. Met a lot of great people on there... I met my first boyfriend on that website.. even ended up flying out of country haha. To be honest i can't for the life of me remember what my old screen name was. I knew A LOT of people, but i was like 14 or 15 at the time. I am glad to see that almost everybody here is from the original Bolt! I'm dedicated to sticking around!
