My cousin and I were having this discussion last night... Because she truly believes she is in love with a guy she has never met. They met online, and have been talking for a couple months now. He even says he is in love with her as well. My question is....is it really possible to be in love with someone you have never met? ....

my opinion, I don't think so...I think you can be in love with the idea of the person, talking over the phone is different from actually spending time in person with someone. What you feel for them over the phone could be different from how you would feel with them in person.

You can never tell, that's always a risk at times even if you fall in love with someone or anyone. You never know until things happen. I'm of the opinion that love at first sight isn't the right mind set, more like it how I'm kind of against online dating. The thing is you have to physically meet a person to know them. so truth is don't put your faith in the internet, because you'll be sorely disappointed.

Talking on the phone does not count, hell, voice chat or even video chase isn't going to always work. Please don't think me cold on this matter, this not going to work for everyone. There are those possibilities though
