Or are you who they told you to be?

By they, I mean: Your parents, teachers, peers, The media and any other potential force that saps individuality.

That's so common it's not even funny. I seriously think that kids should be home schooled or if not that parents and people that care should start their own local schools.
That's the way it used to be a long time ago, before the Civil War. All schools were community owned and driven, that way parents know who's in charge and can even teach themselves.

I can't believe parents would have their kids be taught by someone you don't know and you don't even know how qualified they are.

People who treat kids like a number and don't really care if they succeed are being appointed to act as if they know better then kid's own parents.

Theirs no flexibility either, Kids should have their imaginations nurtured and be allowed to choose who they become and if properly monitored, this can be a wonderful thing.

However I am glad some people took the question seriously.

Truthfully it's impossible to completely answer that question unless someone completely takes an internal journey to understand their own talents and personality.

However it's simple to say that any choice you made yourself is your own choice.
