my hubby and i do this all the time when he's stateside.  favorite way to spend a day?  coffee, walk downtown, go to the beach for the sunset.  some days we throw a little tennis/lacrosse/roller blading in there, just for kicks.  i laughed so hard when i first saw your response because of how exactly it lines up.  :)
