ex bf still an issue

ok so we broke up about 2 weeks ago now. It was coming we havnt been working for quite some time as he has MAJOR depression issues and jelousy issues. Even though i felt it coming i still love him and miss him ALOT.

 

Problem is I know we won't ever work until he gets help - which im not even sure he is going to do.But he txts me constantly i Love you, i miss you, i miss us - im tryig to move on but its hard with him doing that to get over him.

 

I stupdily slept with him a coupel days after we broke up and when i said to him the last time i saw him that we cant be afectionate anymore we aren't a couple and its not healthy he says back to me "so now your done with me?" and gets upset!

 

I dont know how to say this to him so he understands, and doesnt get hurt but also doesnt try to hurt himself?

You're probably just going to have to hurt him, I know it sounds bad but there's just not really another way around it. Tell him you're done. If he doesn't listen, and keeps trying to text and call, block his number. If you keep talking to him he's gonna think there's still a chance.

If you really want to move on just do it! Cut him out of your life!

Honestly, he sounds like an emotionally manipulative shit. He sounds like a child threatening to hold his breath if he doesn't get his candy. If someone threatens to hurt themselves if you leave them, you should leave them IMMEDIATELY. It's not your job to protect people from the harsh realities of life. Your nobody's mother, your nobody's savior, your nobody's therapist. You have the right to dump anyone, at any time, for any reason, and if they cant handle that and hurt themselves, remember. You didn't do that. They chose to do that to themselves.
