LOL my friend said he believes earth is round! what an asshole how dares he insult our precious Midgard and the World Serpent.

LOL don't you all agree with me? He's a total asshole. Odin will punish him for having such doubts about Midgard.

Nah, just acting like christians with Norse mythology instead. Christians are so melodramatic.

Generalizations about certain religions are pretty melodramatic too. (jussayin.)
Christians are so melodramatic.
Asians are so melodramatic.
Retards are so melodramatic.
Women are so melodramatic.
Black people are so melodramatic.
People who don't look and act exactly like me are so melodramatic.

Annnnnnnnd: every war ever.

I know no one gives a shit, but the vikings probably believed the world was round and not any other shape. Considering they were an active seafaring culture, they would have noticed that the mast of a ship is the last thing you see when it approaches the horizon.

The Earth isn't a perfectly round shape either since the moon pulls water closer to it at the equator which leaves some parts of the planet being more flat than round. Again, not giving a shit.

Actually they thought that ships approaching the horizon reached the edge of the world and that there was a giant waterfall there and that those ships fell down. I also assume that there wasn't that many ships sailing around at that time, I don't really think many of them saw any other ships approching a horizon.

Not likely, since the ships came back and we are talking about a race of people who sailed and settled in Europe, Asia and the Americas. It was fairly widespead and well written knowledge in Europe, even in the Middle Ages, that the Earth was round instead of flat.

Even from the shore, you can casually witness a ship's lower portion sinking more and more into the ocean as it travels further out.

Å, kjære Odin ikke la slike mennesker ødelegge for deg.

Last I heard planet Earth is oval but what the hell??????? Why is this being disputed?

Немецкий не похож на норвежский.

Odin will punish you.

the earth surface does not resemble a perfect sphere, its slightly irregular in shape due to gravitational forces being exerted by manda's butt
